Yesterday, I was getting late for college as I was looking for my scarf. As I looked through my cupboard, and pulled all the clothes down, on the top of the heap lay one piece of cloth, a piece of history. Each wrinkle on it whispered of a memory, a cherished one. The faded color reminded me of how we had evolved over the years. There lay my school shirt, my heart still beating in its pocket.
I remember the last day of school. We were all running around collecting slam sheets, slam books, clearing the lockers, clicking photos, wishing luck, hugging, ensuring that nothing was left behind.
I know something was. Something we could never collect...

These are just a few of the so many memories that I carry, deep inside that pocket. May be our laughs still reverberate in that beautiful classroom, may be children still hide behind the Biology lab, and may be that half a mark is still fought for.
May be.
There are so many people we meet along the journey of life, but few who leave a lasting impression on our minds. I want to tell you just one thing friend.
Thank you for who you are and all that you mean to me. Thank you for believing in me, and making me believe in myself. Thank you for everything!
My warmest thanks to all of you - IR, JK, MA, NS and SN!! : )
I wiped my tears on the shirt, put it back neatly and left.
