Break ke baad Part I

Hey! I know I have been away for really long and am really sorry! : ) Just dropped down to say that I am taking an indefinite break from blogging (I can never quit blogging, my friend said : ). The past few months have been a farrago of doubts, fears, hopes and wishes. [I wonder if I used the word farrago correctly, read this word a few days ago, just wanted to show off felt like using it ; )]

Life has been running fast and I can just barely catch up, panting for breath already. But this is something I wanted, I know. It all seems unreal, almost hazy, because it's like I just passed out of school and we're talking jobs already. The bridge from 19 to 20 is mighty tough to cross, I tell you.

Sometimes it makes sense to do what you do best, and to do it in the best possible way. And I can see that my blog has been suffering for quite a while, and I haven't been a good mother to it. So now, I shall put my little child to sleep so it can get up, all refreshed and charged up. : ) And honestly, it's unfair that I post and you read it, when I have been unable to catch up on your posts.

I would like to thank all of you for being such wonderful blogmates and friends, and for all those good words and knowledge I gained. : ) It has definitely changed me as a person. : )

Usha Ma'am
Thank you Usha ma'am for just being there and appreciating my scribbles. Somewhere, deep down in my heart, I hold on to your words and thank you for giving me memories that would make my lips curve. : )

Priya Joyce (aka PJ, Behna... ; )
Now what do I say about her because honestly, words are not enough. There's an unspoken bond that is shared with some people and a kind of comfort in a relationship, and that's the sort of thing I have with her, because she gives me a kind of security, that someone is there who cares about me. Thank you for trusting me and being there during the toughest of times, trying to cheer me up in your own sweet trademark Behna way. : ) Somewhere in the end, it's those little acts of kindness that matter and PJ is the queen of them. There have been many moments when she has made me feel extremely special, and I thank God that he blessed me with such a beautiful friend. : ) Infact, a thank you wouldn't be enough. : )

Sandeep Balan (Sandy, San, blah blah ; )
Kya kahoon main aapki TAReef mein? Sensible is definitely not the word I'd use for him. But there's a sort of unique endearing character in his non sense, something that makes you smile in the worst of times. And that is difficult, mind you. He's one item, like they say! That crazy, fun, kinda childish, naughty streak is what I like. : ) And when he gets down to talking about serious stuff, you are stunned if it's the same guy, it's that effortless. Thanks yaar! : ) And yes, SANskriti still rocks! ; )

Arjun (Prince Arjunanda, anna)
He's the typical elder brother, protective and ever willing to listen and offer an advice or two. He has immense patience, and for someone like me who is extremely impatient, it's refreshing to have someone to listen to all your nonsense. A writer par excellence, his Roshan has been quite a hit among the girls! (I'm in queue) He's someone I really admire and look up to, not just for what he has been to me but generally, as a human being too, and such gems are hard to find these days. : ) I am glad I could interact with you and learn so much, and just want to tell you one thing: Don't ever change. : ) And a heartfelt thank you! : )

Bhawana (My South Indian kudi)
The only blogger I have met in person till date. I still remember the first conversation we had "Are you a south Indian?" I asked her and "Are you Punjabi?" she asked me. Turns out to be the opposite. Some people possess this quality of instantly putting one at ease, and she sure has it. There's a certain kind of vibe that I get, some sort of a calm feeling when she's around. : ) Sometimes I wonder how someone could be so simple in such complicated times, and I really have no idea how she manages it. May be the tikka does the trick. ; ) Honestly, you know how much I respect you, and just be the same Bhawana, you are wonderful the way you are. : ) JGD! : ) I remembered you on your birthday, Happy birthday, but exam ke tension me dimaag se nikal gaya. Sorry. : (

Random Reflections (RR)
One of the few bloggers I really respect, there are some people with whom one can instantly connect, and he is someone like that. I can make out through your thoughts RR that you are a beautiful person at heart and stay the same way. Always. : ) Jai Gurudev! : )

Man in Painting (MIP)
One of those bloggers whom I respect a lot and whose comments I look forward to, rare and in between, but each word is worth it. Keyboard sculpturer is an apt name for some one who works with the simplest of words, to weave the greatest of thoughts. Your comments find a special place in my treasure box MIP, and each word of it, I respect. Thank you sir! : ) And love to the little angel B. : )

Kartz (aka Karthik, sugar coat did I hear someone say? ; )
The first thought that comes to mind is 'the one with great English'. He sure has helped me improve my vocabulary! ; ) A wonderful human being, with an opinion of his own but willing to give the other a fair chance, a kind heart, and a mature head. Someone with genuine concern for people, and who spares no chance to make you feel good. : ) Thank you buddy, not just for helping me with my Tamil, but for being there always and cracking that silly joke to cheer things up! Wish you the very best in life! : ) And haan, wish you a very very happy birthday in advance, may the year be a wonderful one. : )

CRD (bhai)
My first brother from blogville, and he has stuck around all this while. : ) The master of short, whacky stories with a punch, I'll so miss you and your blog. Also bhraatashri I remembered you on your birthday, but tab mere paas koi saadhan nahin tha apko wish karne ka. Ho sake toh apni iss chhoti si behna ko kshama kar dijiyega. Hehe, too much of Hindi ho gaya, anyhow, wish you a very happy birthday. : )

Posh (Ms.Beckham may be? ; )
My only younger brother from blogville, and someone who I feel, fills that sibling gap in my life. I really feel like his elder sister, like I need to take care of him. : ) Someone who is extremely talented and that too at such a young age, you can see he is maturing and improving, clearly reflected in his blog. The one who's given me sweet names (Ms.Wordsworth) and who always has a good word to say, I am really going to miss you brother! : ) Just one advice, you are on the right track, keep going and don't lose focus, give it all that you have and success shall follow. : )

Ela
One of my earliest blog friends, she's been around all this while. : ) Someone whom I immensely respect, not just for what she writes but also for her values. Her posts give me a new perspective on things, a mature view of situations. When they say that it's a small world, I know what they mean. A stupid teenager in India interacting with a PhD student in Germany, I sure know what they mean. : )

Suresh
One of the most regular bloggers I've seen and still not sacrificing on content. A tough task if you ask me. : ) The one who's always optimistic, and that optimism rubs on. A tinge of humour is attached to each of his comments, and his blog is a delight to read. Thank you for sticking around this long and being one of my loyal readers and remembering those little details, that matter. I wish you all the luck in the world Suresh! : )

Praveen (Crusader, hot-shot photographer)
Again one of my earliest fiends in blog ville. I'm told Leos get bored with things pretty soon, but I don't quite want to believe it considering this Leo has been blogging non stop for years now! Just want to say, lucky are those people who follow their passions, so keep going! Take care. : )

It feels sad to go away from this world that has given me so much, I will miss you all terribly, and just hope all of you get the best life has to offer. And stay happy always. : ) I have been able to write about only a few people right now, primarily due to lack of time. But abhi picture baaki hai mere dost!! :D So stay tuned for the remaining parts, and yes a very belated Happy New Year.

So, goodbye till we meet again...! : )

Love
Tara
